As we grow in scope and ambition in 2019, we are looking for a highly motivated Research Application Engineer to develop modular software components. These components form part of our ‘core’ SDK; a library of proprietary state-of-the-art algorithms on which a multitude of applications can be built.

You are:

A highly motivated individual with a rigorous, meticulous, and scientific approach to life. You are also passionate about computer vision and/or machine learning state of the art research. You will be driven by your research having real world use cases. You will have completed a degree in a scientific discipline. You should be comfortable working within a team when it suites the project at hand, but also be capable of working on your own if needs be. You should have the demonstrable ability to take problems and drive them to conclusions.

You will:

You will be primarily responsible for producing reference implementations of state-of-the-art artificial intelligence algorithms that have been developed by our machine/deep learning researchers. Your implementations will form part of the backbone that optimization engineers, QA engineers, and developers will work with to build and extend our products. You will therefore liaise with colleagues across multiple teams and act as a key contributor of the AnyVision product life-cycle.



Required skills:-

  • MSc in relevant area (ML, Computer Vision, etc.)
  • Minimum 1 year industry experience
  • Experience of machine learning frameworks (pyTorch, Caffe, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn)
  • Required programming skills: C++11 onwards
  • Desirable programming skills: CUDA, Python
