As we grow in scope and ambition in 2019, we are looking for a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for designing, testing and evaluating machine learning algorithms on data captured over large networks of cameras. Successful applicants will be working on projects including face detection/recognition, pedestrian reid, liveness detection, attribute detection, object detection, and head/head-pose analysis.

 

You are:

You are a highly motivated individual with a rigorous, meticulous, and scientific approach to life. You are also passionate about technology and software. You will have completed a degree in a scientific discipline, with some emphasis on programming. You should be comfortable working within a team when it suites the project at hand, but also be capable of working on your own if needs be. You should have the demonstrable ability to take problems and drive them to conclusions. You have excellent technical writing skills. You are up to date with the current state-of-the-art approaches in Deep Learning. For senior levels, you will also have a PhD within a technical discipline and have published papers at top conferences and journals, e.g. CVPR/TPAMI/ICML.

You will:

As a member of the research team at AnyVision, you will use your deep understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence to tackle real-world problems. You will research, develop and analyse novel large-scale deep learning and computer vision algorithms along with one of the most innovative product development teams. Our key products are implemented in many areas such as surveillance, retail and sports analytics over large networks of cameras. You will enjoy analyzing massive image and video data. You will actively engage with joint industrial projects with the biggest-camera manufacturers and work with customers closely. You will also be responsible for profiling your work algorithms (speed and accuracy analysis), identifying bottlenecks which may require further research, documenting the development, and reporting results both internally and externally. Furthermore, you will lead your field and stay up to date by collaborating with universities, publish and present your work at top conferences and journals.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Passionate about large-scale problems
  • Strong understanding of current deep learning-based methods
  • Ability to identify and lead new practical research projects
  • Have an extensive experience on deep learning frameworks e.g., Caffe, PyTorch
  • Familiar with Python or C++, CUDA is a plus
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong software development practices: e.g., source control.
  • Ability to focus, think big and pay attention to detail

For senior positions you will also be expected to have:

  • A strong publication record e.g. CVPR, ICCV, ICML
  • PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar
