About The Position

AnyVision Research UK is a world leading team of scientists and engineers that creates AI for the

fields of Face recognition, Object recognition, Object detection, and Visual Target Tracking. As we

This role is to aid in the design, development, integration and deployment of AnyVision algorithms

onto hardware devices including CPU, DSP, GPU, and FPGA. This includes liaising with researchers

to form a concrete understanding of their work, and to guide their research within the constraints of

the hardware under consideration. You will be responsible for profiling algorithms (speed and

accuracy), identifying bottlenecks which may require further research, documenting the

development/deployment, and reporting results both internally and externally.

We are especially interested in talking to candidates who are excited about seeing their work used

to make a difference in the real-world and who have a passion for solving key challenges in areas as

diverse as security, healthcare and sports analytics. At AnyVision you will have the chance to

Essential skills and experience:

Candidates will have an excellent track record in software development, and:

1. Minimum 1 years industry experience.

2. Excellent communication skills,

especially of technical concepts/ideas

3. C and/or C++

4. *nix

5. CMake/Gnu Make

6. Source control

7. Scripting languages (Python/Bash)

8. Knowledge of good software

engineering principles

9. Strong analytical/problem solving skills

Desirable skills:

1. Algorithm development within a research context

2. Experience of machine learning frameworks (pyTorch, Caffe, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn)

3. Experience developing for hardware devices such as GPUs, DSPs, FPGAs, embedded Linux.

4. OpenCV and computer vision

5. Demonstrated interest in/knowledge of machine/deep learning

6. Experience and ability to work with academic literature

7. Strong mathematical background

8. PhD in electrical/electronic engineering, machine learning, computer science or similar

9. CUDA/OpenCL/Halide
