As we grow in scope and ambition in 2019, we are looking for a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for TensorFlow based development and deployment of AnyVision algorithms and architectures.

You are:

You are a highly motivated individual with a rigorous, meticulous, and scientific approach to life. You are also passionate about technology and software. You will have completed a degree in a scientific discipline, with some emphasis on programming. You will likely have studied to a higher level (e,g, MSc or PhD, within a technical discipline). You should be comfortable working within a team when it suites the project at hand, but also be capable of working on your own if needs be. You should have the demonstrable ability to take problems and drive then to conclusions.

You will:

This role requires an extensive knowledge of TensorFlow (2+ years minimum). This role will involve liaising with current researchers to form a concrete understanding of their work and training methods, with the goal of transitioning their routines into TensorFlow formats. Awareness of TensorFlow based low precision training is essential. You will also be responsible for profiling your work algorithms (speed and accuracy analysis), identifying bottle-necks which may require further research, documenting the development and reporting results both internally and externally. You will also liaise with engineers from the biggest-hardware manufacturers in the business to ensure that AnyVision solutions remain the most cutting edge in every aspect.


Must have skills:

●       Minimum of 2 years exposure to TensorFlow based development in a commercial or research environment.

●       Awareness of low precision training within TensorFlow.

●       Demonstrated interest / good general understanding of machine learning/deep learning (e.g. through completion of online courses).

●       Extremely comfortable using Linux based systems.

●       Familiar with Python or C++.

●       Strong software development practices: e.g., source control.

●       Degree in electrical/electronic engineering, computer science, or similar. 

●       Demonstration of self-motivated and hardworking attitude (e.g. high publication record, significant level of extracurricular academic activities, active on GitHub, etc). 

●       Good verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable skills:

●     Experience of other machine learning frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, Caffe, Scikit-Learn)

●     Experience developing for hardware devices such as DSPs, FPGAs, embedded linux.

●     Experience of Agile software development practices and Jira.

●     Strong mathematics background.

●     PhD in electrical/electronic engineering, machine learning, computer science, or similar. 

●     Good verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to communicate research and evangelize our work at the highest levels both internally and externally.
