About The Position

AnyVision is the world’s leading designer and developer of face, body and object recognition platforms, founded in 2015 in order to solve real-world problems.

We have recently closed out our Series A with 74M and are looking to continue our rapid growth by bringing on a highly technical and experienced Project Manager to join our “A(i)” delivery team and manage various customer projects on the West.

You Will: Provide Project Management leadership, Pre-Sales support and end-to-end execution for a variety of Physical Security and Video Analytics Solution projects and opportunities. Lead project team and manage internal and external resources to deploy projects on time and on budget. You will work directly for the Director of PMO and are expected to manage large complex, sometimes high-profile projects that might range from $250K to $10M, while also providing leadership, mentoring and supervision to others on the project management team.


Essential Job Functions

  • Possess solution deployment knowledge and directly manage multiple large complex projects simultaneously.
  • Develop and promote a positive working relationship with fellow employees, project teams and customers.
  • Identify project team and provide leadership for each project assigned to deliver results.
  • Engage in process improvement activities and support new process rollouts.

 

Pre-Sales (10% of Time)

  • Review Technical Proposal and/or other project documents.
  • Attend on-site presentations with Sales as needed.
  • Identify project proposal requirements and engage others for additional support as needed.
  • Facilitate solution review and confirm customer requirements.
  • Arrange site visits and support product/solution demonstrations as required.

 

Project Planning (20% of Time)

  • Participate in all internal and external project meetings.
  • Review customer provided information, results of all site surveys etc.
  • Participate in Solutions Review meeting and confirm agreement with final project budget, scope and schedule.
  • Develop detailed Project Schedule (e.g., Gantt chart) and distribute to project team.
  • Identify project support needs and engage internal or external resources as needed.
  • Review project scope of work and further detail or generate scope documents or contracts as needed.
  • Document daily and weekly activities and develop to-do and punch lists.

 

Project Execution (30% of Time)

  • Conduct kick-off meetings internally with project team, and externally with customer.
  • Conduct periodic project status review meetings internally or on the job site as required to stay on schedule.
  • Review project milestones, all Change Orders, compare to budget, approve prior to issuance.
  • Supervise project activity in accordance with project contract requirements.
  • Work with internal operations and finance teams to ensure weekly review and updates of project financial.

 

Recurring Responsibilities (30% of Time)

  • Update project schedule and track project milestones as required; if a milestone is not on track, develop corrective steps with project plan, escalate to Director of PMO if necessary.
  • Review project costs relative to budget daily/weekly; immediately address any discrepancies or cost overruns.
  • Review status of any Change Orders.
  • Review status of any pending Requests for Information.
  • Review overall project plan weekly to ensure product deliveries, on site meetings, project deadlines, etc., are all properly planned out and any potential issues are identified and reviewed with all participants and a plan is in place to mitigate risk as much as possible.
  • Generate and submit weekly project status report.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • B.A. /B.S. degree or PMP Certification
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience required in project management and/or involved in Physical Security and Video Analytics fields.
  • Retail, Casino & Gaming industry experience is a plus.
  • Basic Networking and Camera Configuration skills needed

Other Requirements:

  • Role requires travel within the United States; approximately 50%
  • Position is remote. West coast preferred.
